While I love making things with technology, what gets me out of bed in the morning is helping people accomplish ambitious goals. CLIMATE TECH
While at ThoughtWorks I advised a regional Independent System Operator (ISO), sparking an interest in modernizing power grids. This would lead me to join Odyssey Energy Solutions as VP Engineering, where we are scaling up financing for solar energy in the developing world. I keep my technical skills sharp working on an open source software project in the climate tech space.
DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION
I’ve served as a leader and advisor in several digital transformations for a diverse set of organizations; health tech and EMR leaders in Canada and the US, grocery and fashion retailers in the US and Canada, Canadian telcos, banks and financial services companies. I’ve served these organizations by developing and executing digital strategies, organizational design, technology strategy and coaching leaders.
COMMERCIAL LEADERSHIP
At VNDLY, I’ve held P+L responsibility for one of our SaaS software product lines, reporting on and driving revenue growth. This adds to my background in account management and business development at ThoughtWorks.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
I’ve had the good luck to work for leaders who invested in coaching me, and I’ve returned the favor. At ThoughtWorks, I was sought out as a mentor by several Principal Technology Consultants, and I continue to coach engineering managers and up and coming leaders at VNDLY, Wisp, and now Odyssey.
TECHNOLOGY STRATEGY
Formerly part of the Head of Technology group for ThoughtWorks in North America, I am a trusted C-level advisor on Technology Strategy, Microservices, Continuous Delivery, Agile Engineering, Agile Program Management, and Lean Product.
